At a time of anticipated and unanticipated change, what steps can we take to meet students where they are while strengthening and sustaining our programs?
The 2026 Chicago Language Symposium will discuss this and other questions on April 18, 2026. To make sure the symposium is accessible to presenters and participants across the country, it will be held entirely online via Zoom.
The Symposium is presented by the University of Chicago Language Center together with:
- The Council of Language Instruction and the Language Resource Center at Northwestern University
- The Sandi Port Errant Language and Culture Learning Center at the University of Illinois-Chicago
- The Department of Modern Languages at DePaul University
